From the Spend Management & Expense Platforms Buyer's Guide, updated June 2026. 8 vendors evaluated.

Navan

Travel-first, and that ordering decides the fit: the former TripActions unifies managed corporate travel booking with policy and approvals in the flow, the Navan corporate card, and auto-reconciling expense as one workflow from booking to journal entry, with a strong traveler experience, duty-of-care, deep travel content, and an AI-driven approach to killing the expense report. It has been public on NASDAQ since its late-2025 IPO. Pure card and AP-spend depth for non-travel everyday spend can trail Ramp and Brex, value is highest for travel-heavy organizations, global coverage varies by region, and the post-IPO investment and margin trajectory is worth watching.

Ramp

Card-led and interchange-funded, so the software is free and the incentives point at savings: corporate cards, expense, bill pay and AP, procurement, and treasury on one platform with an obsessive focus on automated savings, duplicate and subscription detection, a fast modern UX, and an aggressive, well-funded push into agentic AI — agents that read receipts, code transactions, and clear the bulk of expenses without human review — plus strong native integrations with NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and QuickBooks. It is primarily US-focused, with thinner multi-currency and international card issuance than the global-first players. The free model ties you to its issuing-bank and interchange economics, it works best once finance processes are defined, and managed corporate travel is lighter than Navan or Concur.
