Pricing for Executive Forum membership and articles

The CIOPages Executive Forum is where senior technology leaders, including executives at technology vendors, write under their own byline. We edit every article, and every one is labeled a paid guest contribution.

This page lists the membership and article prices, how to pay, and the terms. Applying is free, and nothing is charged until an editor accepts you.

How to pay

  • Pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or US bank account (ACH).
  • Every charge comes with a Stripe invoice and receipt by email.
  • We don't accept PayPal.

Paying, refunds and rights

  • If we decline your application, you're never charged.
  • We charge the membership fee when we accept you. It covers twelve months and renews each year unless you cancel. To cancel, write to support@ciopages.com before the renewal date.
  • We charge the article fee when we accept your pitch. Pitching is free, so a pitch we turn down costs you nothing.
  • If we accept a pitch and then can't publish it for a reason on our side, you choose: a refund, or we put the fee toward another pitch.
  • If you drop an accepted pitch, we don't refund the article fee.
  • Once a piece publishes, it stays published. We'll correct a factual error and note the change, but we don't take articles down on request.
  • We may add a note to an article, or remove it, if a claim in it turns out to be false and can't be corrected. We'll tell you first.
  • The cap is 6 published articles per membership year.
  • Membership isn't refundable once your first article publishes. Before that, tell us and we'll refund it.
  • You keep the copyright, including on pieces we write for you, and you give us a permanent, non-exclusive license to publish. You can republish after 30 days with a link back to us.

Who qualifies, what we publish and how each article is labeled are on the Executive Forum page, with answers to common questions.

In addition, if you are at a technology vendor and want a comprehensive package that includes a Spotlight listing on a Buyer Guide, as well as 4 articles we write under your executive’s byline, please consider the Spotlight + Executive Forum bundle: $1,499 once, for 12 months.
