What “Paid Guest Contribution” means

The Executive Forum is a section of CIOPages where senior business and technology leaders write under their own byline. Members pay to take part, so we label every Forum article as a paid guest contribution.

• The byline is real. The author wrote the piece, or signed off on the final version, and the views in it are theirs.
• Our editors reviewed and edited it before it ran, and we control the final version.
• Outbound links in Forum articles carry rel="sponsored".
• Forum pieces sit in their own section, and they carry the label everywhere they're listed.
• Membership has no effect on our Buyer Guide evaluations, our Directory records, or what our editors choose to write about.

That's all the label means. If something on a Forum page looks wrong, tell us and we'll check it.
