How AI Footnotes are made

What each page records

For each AI feature: whether it is on by default, how an admin turns it off, whether customer data trains the vendor's models, retention, where data is processed, the model providers named for it, and price. For each vendor: its official MCP server or agent API, and its published statement on the EU AI Act.

Sources

Only the vendor's own pages: documentation, admin guides, trust centers, product terms, AI addenda, sub-processor lists, pricing pages and release notes. No press coverage, analyst reports, review sites or forums. Each fact carries the vendor's own words, the page and the date it was read. A fact the vendor does not publish is marked as not published, not guessed.

Checks

Every fact is re-read at least every 90 days; a fact older than that is marked as due for recheck. Changes are listed on each vendor page with their date and source.

No verdicts

The pages carry no ratings, rankings or recommendations. Placements bought on CIOPages have no effect on them.

Corrections

Send a correction with the public page that supports it through the correction form. A correction changes the page and is listed in its changes, with the new source.
