Outreach

The other sequencing heavyweight, repositioned as an agentic AI sales-execution platform that unifies engagement, deal management, coaching, and revenue intelligence in one product, with deep cadence and workflow automation, a maturing set of AI agents for prospecting, research, personalization, and calls, strong enterprise RevOps tooling, and independence under CEO Abhijit Mitra. Breadth means a steeper setup and administration curve than lighter tools, and it is at its best with disciplined RevOps ownership. The aggressive agentic messaging is still proving out in production, and it relies on external data providers for contact data rather than owning a database.

Salesloft

The category-defining cadence platform, now assembling a full revenue lifecycle: Rhythm prioritizes the highest-value seller actions from buyer signals, Cadence remains best-in-class for high-volume SDR and BDR outreach across email, phone, and LinkedIn, Drift’s conversational AI arrived in 2024, and the December 2025 Clari merger adds forecasting and deal inspection. That consolidation is the thing to track closely. Vista Equity ownership plus rapid acquisition means the Drift, Groove, and Clari assets are still settling and the roadmap is converging in real time. The richest value lands on high-volume motions, and enterprise editions and add-ons make pricing and packaging take real effort to scope.
