About Chelsio T6 Unified Wire 100GbE Adapters
The adapters use a PCI Express 5.0 host bus interface and are optimized for storage, cloud computing, HPC, virtualization, and datacenter networking. On-board hardware offloads protocol processing including TCP/IP, RDMA, iSCSI, NVMe-oF, NVMe/TCP, and TLS/IPsec from the host system. The devices maintain backward compatibility with predecessor T4, T5, and T6 software without modification. The T7 is available in form factors including HHHL, FHHL, and OCP3, while the S7 operates as a memory-free Smart NIC using host memory.
