About CNI-Genie

CNI-Genie enables container orchestrators to connect to a choice of CNI plugins installed on a host. It works with Kubernetes and Mesos orchestrators. It supports '3rd-party' CNI plugins such as Calico, Romana, and Weave-net. It supports 'specialized' CNI plugins such as SR-IOV, with DPDK listed as work-in-progress. Without CNI-Genie, an orchestrator is limited to a single CNI plugin, and CNI-Genie allows co-existence of multiple CNI plugins at runtime.
