About OVN-Kubernetes

OVN-Kubernetes is an open-source project that provides a networking solution for Kubernetes clusters built on OVN and Open vSwitch. It is a Kubernetes networking plugin written according to the CNI specifications. The plugin watches the Kubernetes API and acts on cluster events by creating and configuring OVN logical constructs in the OVN database. OVN converts these logical constructs into logical flows and programs OpenFlow flows on the node to enable networking on a Kubernetes cluster. The project includes features critical to enterprise and telco users.
