Platform9 offers Private Cloud Director, a platform that turns existing infrastructure into a private cloud for managing VMs and containers. The product manages virtual machines and containers in an environment controlled by the operator. It includes Platform9 OS, built on Rocky Linux from CIQ, which removes Linux administration tasks from the operator. Platform9 manages the operating system so that operators do not need to use a Linux shell. The company provides integration, testing, and support across the operating system and virtualization layer.
