About Thanos

Thanos provides an open source, highly available Prometheus setup with long term storage capabilities. It allows querying of Prometheus metrics across multiple Prometheus servers and clusters. It can be extended with object storage to store metrics for unlimited time. It supports GCP, S3, Azure, Swift and Tencent COS object storage. It works with tools that support the Prometheus Query API, such as Grafana. It is an Incubating project of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation.
