Alibaba Cloud File Storage NAS is a network attached storage service for use with ECS instances, HPC and Container Service. It is based on a distributed storage system. It supports standard NFS and SMB protocols without requiring application modifications. Security mechanisms include account authorization, VPC, and security groups.

• Standard NAS: Provides elastic storage capacity mounted on multiple business systems to allow file sharing.
• Performance NAS: Allows multiple web servers to write business logs into a shared file system without capacity limits.
• NAS Plus Smart Cache: Provides a maximum throughput of 160 Gbit/s and allows multiple graphic workstations to work simultaneously.
• NAS Plus Extreme IO: Based on RDMA and NVMe SSD, providing read and write ability that maintains 1M IOPS and a latency of 500 µs.
• NAS disaster recovery: Provides a disaster recovery service across multiple zones and regions.
• Cloud Parallel File System: Provides a maximum throughput of 1 Tbit/s and a capacity of 100 PB.
