About MooseFS
MooseFS is distributed storage software. It spreads data across multiple servers while keeping it accessible as a single resource. It can be mounted as a POSIX file system, used as a block device for VMs and databases, or accessed directly via the C API. Commodity hardware can be added to scale the system. It has been in production use since 2005. It is available as an open-source edition or a PRO edition.
