About K8up

K8up is an open source Kubernetes Operator designed to provide robust backup and restore capabilities within Kubernetes environments, including OpenShift. It enables cluster operators to efficiently manage backups of Persistent Volume Claims (PVCs) with various access modes and supports application-consistent snapshots by integrating with tools that output to stdout. K8up facilitates both scheduled and on-demand backups, archival to long-term storage solutions like AWS Glacier, and repository integrity checks, ensuring data reliability and availability.
